Transportation management system for a flatbed carrier
- What it replaced
- Spreadsheets.
- Who uses it daily
- Dispatch, drivers and payroll. The carrier runs about 75 trucks on it.

- The carrier moved its whole operation off spreadsheets and into one system for dispatch, truck movements, driver payroll, live GPS and reporting, and it runs on that system every day.
Safety Director
- What it is
- A complete safety management system for a trucking company. Every event gets a reference number, an owner and a due date. Nothing closes without evidence. Serious items get a check that the fix worked, and trends go to management. Office staff use it in a browser, and drivers have a simple phone screen for quick reports.
- Scope

- Incidents and near misses, with preventability reviews and the DOT accident register
- Corrective actions that close only with evidence
- Hiring and driver-qualification files
- A credential calendar that holds dispatch when something lapses
- Drug and alcohol testing records
- Hours of service and short-haul time logs

- What I built
- A client website and online store, designed, built and hosted by DPM.
- Before launch
- I ran my own pre-launch check against WCAG 2.1 AA, fixed 14 issues and retested. It is the builder’s own check, not an audit or certification.
